Web Application in Desktop Environment
Bugáň, Marek ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Trchalík, Roman (advisor)
This bachelor thesis shoul show us, how to work with web application in desktop environment. It show us, wthch technologies we can use for development of this kind of application. The aim of thesis is to describe and demonstrate the development of applications in Google Chrome API.
Automatic Testing of JavaScript Restrictor Project
Bednář, Martin ; Pluskal, Jan (referee) ; Polčák, Libor (advisor)
The aim of the thesis was to design, implement and evaluate the results of automatic tests for the JavaScript Restrictor project, which is being developed as a web browser extension. The tests are divided into three levels - unit, integration, and system. The Unit Tests verify the behavior of individual features, the Integration Tests verify the correct wrapping of browser API endpoints, and the System Tests check that the extension does not suppress the desired functionality of web pages. The System Tests are implemented for parallel execution in a distributed environment which has succeeded in achieving an almost directly proportional reduction in time with respect to the number of the tested nodes. The benefit of this work is detection of previously unknown errors in the JavaScript Restrictor extension and provision of the necessary information that allowed to fix some of the detected bugs.
Methods of Data Extraction from the Web
Perina, Lukáš ; Křivka, Zbyněk (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to design an architecture and subsequent implementation of an application designed for data extraction (web scraping) from web documents. Unlike conventional methods, it is an extraction based on defining data types and regular expressions of requested elements. Extraction is executed in such a manner, where it is not necessary to know the detailed structure of given web document and the possibility of using just one definition to detect requested elements on different web pages. Algorithm is able to achieve overall accuracy of 85,51% and recall 80,28%. This approach can reduce the time required for analysis of web pages significantly and not to take the structure of the code as a determining factor while creating web scraping requests.
Video conference in HTML 5
Wiesner, David ; Zukal, Martin (referee) ; Číka, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis follow proposal and realization of client-type web application, which uses SIP protocol for multimedia communication signalization. The communication is relayed via TCP protocol, more precisely via WebSocket. There are described basic properties of SIP and WebSocket protocols together with information about webRTC in first part of this thesis. The main part of thesis describes proposal and implementation of web application for AV and text communication. The briefing about progress reached during development is mentioned here as well as used libraries. Application was tested after finishing.
Measurement of transfer speeds and delays in computer networks
Bárdossy, Adrián ; Kubánková, Anna (referee) ; Jeřábek, Jan (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is interested in measurement of transfer rate and latency in computer networks. In the first part of thesis is defined, which motodics of measurement we know, various RFC and their specifications, also various parameters about measurement in computer networks like bit rate, capacity of channel, latency. In the second part are prepared users interfaces and softwares for applying the measurement of thesd parameters. In the last part is application of these softwares and creating and testing methodic of network measurement.

OS Google Chrome - theory and practice
Plecháč, David ; Halbich, Čestmír (advisor) ; Tomáš, Tomáš (referee)
The thesis is focused on the characteristics of the key features of the operating system Google Chrome OS and on the evaluation of deployment of this operating system in practise. The theoretical part describes the purpose and philosophy of the commercial operating system Google Chrome OS and its relation with Chrome web browser. The connection with open-source projects Chromium and Chromium OS is explained. Details of application development and deployment options, in the form of virtualization and domain administration, are analysed. The practical part applies theoretical knowledge from the development of applications for Chrome OS to create thin client application for remote control of hardware sensor over the internet. This sensor is designed and built on the platform Arduino. The sensor measures the temperature and humidity of the ambient air and remote controls high-voltage switching relays. Communication over TCP/IP uses modern MQTT protocol, for which the server is configured with MQTT Broker Mosquitto. The next section demonstrates the procedure for building a customized build of Chromium OS from the publicly provided Google source codes. Based on the evaluation of the acquired theoretical and practical knowledge, I assess the possibility of deploying the Chrome OS in private and commercial areas.
OS Google Chrome - theory and practice
Veverka, Ondřej ; Halbich, Čestmír (advisor) ; Brechlerová, Dagmar (referee)
This bachelor's thesis deals with a new and still rapidly growing operating system Google Chrome. It is designed for netbooks with processors of the x86 and ARM. Simple user interface, quick start and low cost devices gaining great popularity and the proportion between operating systems continues to grow. The theoretical part describes the operating system, types of operating systems, browser Google Chrome and the principle of OS virtualization. In the practical part are explored in detail the programs that are able to replace most used applications for Windows, Ubuntu and MacOS. It also describes the installation of the operating system on various devices and the development of simple application. The application was developed in the JavaScript programming language in combination with sign language HTML. There is demonstrated its functionality and subsequent distribution.
